Cash Connect, the ATM Industry's longest-serving Vault Cash provider, is adding staff to meet growing demand and enhance service levels. Five of the new associates will join Cash Connect's Total Cash Management area and two will join the technology group.
The Total Cash Management (TCM) department, which provides armored carrier management and cash forecasting services to vault cash clients, has experienced tremendous growth since being launched in 2008 as Independent ATM Deployers (IADs) have begun outsourcing these responsibilities to improve operating efficiencies. Of the over 11,000 ATMs funded by Cash Connect, TCM services are being utilized on over 3,000, and the number is growing.
"One of the ways many IADs are responding to the pressure on the ATM business model is by focusing more on business development and high-level management while outsourcing time consuming, yet important tasks like cash forecasting and carrier management," said Jonathan Waterhouse, who manages Cash Connect's TCM department. "By leveraging our expertise and economies of scale, IADs can actually cut their overall costs at the same time they are alleviating staffing burdens."
Cash Connect's technology department has also added an additional programmer as well as a project manager. Nearly all of Cash Connect's technology and programming is handled in-house by a team of programmers. This has allowed Cash Connect the ability to build and maintain their state-of-the-art CashTrack system, the engine behind the company's processes. CashTrack's customer web interface led to Cash Connect being awarded the ATM Industry's Award for Excellence by ATMIA and ATMMarketplace.com.
Among the new hires is Chuck Cluff, who will be serving as a Project Manager, handling the details of new ATM installations and conversions. Mr. Cluff comes to Cash Connect with strong experience that includes 15 years with First Data, where he served as Director of Client Services in their ATM and Member Services Call Centers, Director of Client Relations, and as a Senior Account Manager.
Leigh-Ann Benningfield has also joined Cash Connect as Cash Forecasting Analyst where she will be utilizing the sophisticated Morphis® system to optimize load amounts and frequencies for clients. Cash Connect has also added three staffers to the TCM help desk, which dispatches service requests, confirms loads have taken place, monitors inactivity, and reconciles billing.
Nancy Larkin has join Cash Connect's technology group as a project manager where she will be overseeing technology-related projects intended to improved efficiency and add value to the customer experience. Nancy comes to Cash Connect with 28 years of experience at Wilmington Trust, ten of which was spent in project management in their IT department.
